It started with - dancing around the living room to Beck’s Midnight Vultures as a toddler - playing drums in a band in secondary school - taking speakers apart to see what’s inside - working my way through my dad’s music collection - live gigs with the band - discovering film in art foundation - bringing the band’s music to the studio - film production in Bournemouth.

I have now graduated from Arts University Bournemouth specialising in sound design and production sound. 

Whilst studying, I found that sound can often be overlooked in film, but the fact that it is crucial for story telling on a subliminal level is what I am passionate about. I am passionate about the creative explorations as well as the technical challenges in bringing the vision to life. 

None of this is possible without the dynamic of working within a team, where ideas are shared and a variety of skills, talents and personalities rub against each other and combine to achieve a shared goal, bigger than the sum of its components.

Apart from the creative and technical skills acquired during my course, I am a musician drumming in my band Star Print Clad with whom I have recorded in studios in Brighton and London releasing our own songs on Spotify. I have also recently taught myself to play the guitar
